Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Slow cook the beef brisket in a slow cooker with your choice of seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder) for about 6-8 hours on low until tender. Once cooked, shred the brisket with a fork.

  2. 2

    Make the Honey Mustard

In a small bowl, mix the honey and Dijon mustard together until well combined. Adjust the quantities to taste.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the bread rolls in half. Layer the bottom half with shredded brisket, Black Forest ham, Swiss cheese, and chopped pickles. Drizzle the house-made honey mustard over the top.

  4. 4

    Toast the Sandwich

If desired, place the assembled sandwich on a panini press or grill until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted to a golden brown.

  5. 5

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half and serve warm with extra honey mustard on the side.
