Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the brisket with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place the brisket in a roasting pan.
- 2
Add Broth
Pour the beef broth into the roasting pan around the brisket, ensuring it does not wash off the seasoning.
- 3
Roast
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and roast in the preheated oven for about 3 hours, or until the brisket is tender.
- 4
- 5
Mix Cheese Spread
In a mixing bowl, combine the gorgonzola and cream cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- 6
Assemble the Sandwich
Once the brisket is done, slice it thinly. On slices of the French bread, spread a generous amount of the gorgonzola mixture, layer with brisket slices, bacon, and jalapeños.
- 7
Bake
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
- 8
Serve
Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm. Enjoy your Gorgonzola Brisket sandwiches!
