In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate until smooth, stirring frequently to avoid burning.

In another saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it begins to steam but does not boil.

Combine Ingredients
Once the milk is steaming, whisk in the melted dark chocolate and cinnamon powder. If desired, add sugar to taste.

Pour the hot cocoa into mugs, top with whipped cream, and garnish with chocolate shavings or a sprinkle of cocoa powder.
