Toast the Bread
Begin by toasting the wheat bread slices until golden brown.

Cook the Egg
In a small pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the egg into the pan and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.). Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare the Avocado
While the egg is cooking, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash it lightly with a fork and season with salt and pepper.

Assemble the Toast
Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread slices. Top each slice with the cooked egg.

Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top for added flavor, if desired. Serve immediately.
