Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wild Rice

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the wild rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the rice is tender. Drain any excess water and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Crab Legs

Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil. Add the crab legs and cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. Remove the crab legs from the pot and let them drain.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mixed vegetables and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the remaining butter over low heat. Keep warm until ready to serve.

  5. 5

    Serve

On a large plate, arrange the crab legs, sautéed vegetables, and wild rice. Drizzle the warm drawn butter over the crab legs and serve immediately.
