Preparation of Seafood

Clean the Seafood
Thoroughly rinse the scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari under cold water. Remove the beards from the mussels and discard any open clams that do not close when tapped.

Prepare Grouper
Cut the grouper fillet into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Broth

Add Tomatoes and Stock
Stir in the crushed tomatoes and fish stock. Bring to a simmer.

Incorporate Wine and Seasonings
Pour in the white wine and add the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in the fresh parsley and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Cooking the Pasta or Risotto

Cook Linguine Pasta
In a separate pot, cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
