Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Espresso

Brew your espresso coffee and let it cool to room temperature. Mix in the coffee liqueur and set aside.

  2. 2

    Whip the Cream

In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Mix Mascarpone

In another bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Dip the Ladyfingers

Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

  2. 6

    Layer the Dessert

In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

  3. 7

    Repeat Layers

Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.

  4. 8

    Chill the Tiramisu

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serving

    Dust with Cocoa Powder

Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder using a fine sieve.
