For Grilled Salmon

Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Optionally, add chopped fresh dill.

Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.

Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

Grill the Salmon
Place the marinated salmon fillet on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Serve
Remove from the grill and let it rest for a minute. Optionally garnish with fresh dill before serving.
For Cartoccio Style Salmon

Assemble the Cartoccio
Lay the aluminum foil sheet on a baking tray. Place the salmon fillet in the center, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.

Add Vegetables
Top the salmon with lemon slices, cherry tomatoes, and minced garlic. Optionally, add fresh basil on top.

Seal the Foil
Fold the aluminum foil over the salmon and vegetables, sealing it tightly to create a packet.

Bake
Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
