Brewing the Tea

Step 1: Boil Water
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Step 2: Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat. Add 4 cups of black tea leaves to the pot. Cover and let it steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Step 3: Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea leaves using a fine mesh strainer or tea infuser into a large pitcher.
Sweetening the Tea (Optional)

Step 4: Add Sweetener
If you prefer a sweetened tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or honey to the warm tea. Stir until fully dissolved. For a lighter sweetening, add stevia to taste.
Chilling and Serving

Step 5: Chill the Tea
Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup). Pour in the chilled black tea, leaving some space at the top.

Garnish the tea with lemon slices and a few sprigs of mint leaves for added flavor and presentation.
