Limonata (Lemon)

    Juicing the Lemons

    Juice the fresh lemons using a citrus juicer. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.

    Making the Lemon Syrup

    In a medium saucepan, combine the lemon juice, granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.

    Mixing the Soda

    In a pitcher, combine the lemon syrup with the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mixture over the ice, topping it off with sparkling water.

    Juice the fresh blood oranges using a citrus juicer. Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp.
