Method
Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add Tea
Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat. Add 4 teaspoons of Shangri La Black Tea to the water.

Steep
Cover and let the tea steep for 5 to 7 minutes, depending on your preferred strength.

Strain
After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher to remove the tea leaves.
Sweetening the Tea (Optional)

Add Sweetener
If you prefer sweet tea, add 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar or 1 tablespoon of honey to the hot tea. Stir until dissolved.
Cooling Down

Cool the Tea
Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until chilled.
Serving

Prepare the To-Go Cup
Fill a 22 oz. to-go cup with 2 cups of ice cubes.

Pour the Tea
Pour the chilled tea over the ice until the cup is nearly full.

If desired, add lemon slices and mint leaves for extra flavor.

Insert a straw and enjoy your refreshing iced tea!
