Burrata and Crostini
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.
- 2
Toast the Crostini
Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with extra virgin olive oil. Toast in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Burrata
Carefully place the burrata cheese on a serving platter. Use a sharp knife to cut the top of the burrata, allowing the creamy center to ooze out slightly.
- 4
Season the Dish
Drizzle the burrata with the remaining extra virgin olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt and fresh black pepper to taste.
