Method

Preparing Meatballs

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form Meatballs

Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm, place a piece of bocconcini cheese in the center, and mold the meat around it to form a meatball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

  3. 3

    Brown Meatballs

In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides. Transfer to a slow cooker.

Cooking Fries

  1. 4

    Bake Fries

In a separate baking tray, spread the frozen fries evenly and bake according to package instructions until crispy.

Making Marinara Sauce

  1. 5

    Sauté Base

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until onion is translucent.

  2. 6

    Add Tomatoes

Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.

Final Assembly

  1. 7

    Combine Meatballs and Sauce

Pour the marinara sauce over the browned meatballs in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

  2. 8

    Serve

Once cooked, serve the stuffed meatballs with crispy fries topped with grated parmesan cheese.
