Preparing Meatballs

Make the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Meatballs
Take a small portion of the mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a bocconcini cheese in the center and mold the meat around it to form a ball. Repeat until all mixture is used.

Simmer the Sauce
Add canned tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.

Add Meatballs to Sauce
Gently place the stuffed meatballs into the simmering marinara sauce. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
Cooking Spaghetti

Boil the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add salt and spaghetti. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Serving

Combine and Serve
Serve the spaghetti topped with the marinara sauce and meatballs. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves.
