Pot Stickers Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped green onions, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Pot Stickers

Place a gyoza wrapper in the palm of your hand. Add about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling to the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pot Stickers

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pot stickers in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown (about 2-3 minutes).

  4. 4

    Steam the Pot Stickers

Carefully add 1 cup of water to the skillet and cover immediately with a lid. Allow the pot stickers to steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the water has evaporated and the pork is cooked through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the lid and let the pot stickers cook for an additional minute to crisp the bottom again. Serve hot with spicy gyoza sauce.
