Directions
- 1
Prepare the Steak
Season the filet tenderloin with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.
- 2
Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chopped bell peppers and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 3
Slice the Steak
Once the steak has rested, slice it thinly against the grain.
- 4
Assemble the Wrap
On each sun-dried tomato tortilla, layer the sautéed vegetables, sliced steak, and mozzarella cheese. Add fresh basil if desired.
- 5
Wrap and Serve
Wrap the tortillas tightly and cut in half. Serve immediately and enjoy your peppered steak wrap!
