Egg Roll Filling
Method
Preparation
- 1
Make the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Napa cabbage, bean sprouts, carrot, bell pepper, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- 2
Prepare the Egg Rolls
Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface with one corner pointing towards you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal. Use a little water on the edges to help seal.
- 3
Fry the Egg Rolls
Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the egg rolls in the oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Serve with Teriyaki Glaze
Serve the egg rolls hot with a drizzle of teriyaki glaze on top or on the side for dipping.
