Brewing Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Equipment

Start by gathering your pour over coffee maker, a filter, and a kettle.

  2. 2

    Measure Coffee

Measure 0.5 cups of Fork custom blend coffee and grind it to a medium-coarse consistency.

  3. 3

    Heat Water

In your kettle, heat 2 cups of water to just below boiling (about 200°F or 93°C).

  4. 4

    Set Up the Filter

Place the filter in the pour over coffee maker and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste and warm the brewer.

  5. 5

    Add Coffee Grounds

Add the ground coffee to the filter in the pour over brewer.

  6. 6

    Bloom the Coffee

Slowly pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds (just enough to wet them) and let it bloom for about 30 seconds.

  7. 7

    Brew the Coffee

After blooming, continue to pour the hot water over the coffee grounds in a slow, circular motion until you've used all the water. The brewing process should take about 3-4 minutes.

  8. 8

    Serve and Enjoy

Once brewed, serve the coffee in your favorite mug. Enjoy your first cup and remember you have a free refill!
