Directions

1

Prepare the Steak

Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

2

Make the Spice Rub

In a small bowl, combine ancho chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a spice rub.

3

Season the Steaks

Rub the spice mixture all over the ribeye steaks, ensuring they are evenly coated.

4

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C).

5

Cook the Steaks

Drizzle olive oil on the grill grates. Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

6

Rest the Steaks

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes.

7

Serve

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
