Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the brioche bread into cubes and place them in a greased baking dish.

  2. 2

    Mix the Custard

In a bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

  3. 3

    Combine Berries and Custard

Add the mixed berries to the bread cubes in the baking dish. Pour the custard mixture over the bread and berries, pressing down gently to soak the bread.

  4. 4

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and a knife inserted comes out clean.

  5. 5

    Prepare Graham Crumbles

While the pudding bakes, combine 1 cup of crushed graham crackers with 4 tbs of melted butter and 2 tbs of sugar. Mix until crumbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the pudding is done, let it cool slightly. Serve warm, topped with graham crumbles and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  7. 7

    Beverage Pairing

Serve with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
