Vegetable Stir Fry Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop all the vegetables. Slice the carrot, red bell pepper, and mushrooms. Chop the green onions and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Stir Fry Sauce

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, black pepper, cornstarch, and water. Mix well until the cornstarch is dissolved and set aside.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  4. 4

    Sauté Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  5. 5

    Add the Vegetables

Add the broccoli, carrot, red bell pepper, snow peas, and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  6. 6

    Combine with Sauce

Pour the prepared stir fry sauce over the vegetables. Stir well to coat all the vegetables evenly.

  7. 7

    Finish Cooking

Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens and the vegetables are fully cooked.

  8. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top. Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
