Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the large pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, 0.5 cup of grated Parmesan, the egg, chopped parsley, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.25 tsp of black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Make the Marinara Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, 0.5 tsp of salt, and 0.25 tsp of black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Stuff the Shells
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Take each cooked shell and carefully stuff it with the ricotta mixture using a spoon or piping bag.

Arrange in Baking Dish
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place the stuffed shells in a single layer, then pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of shredded mozzarella and 0.25 cup of grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

Bake the Stuffed Shells
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
