Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Start by rinsing the pork spare ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the membrane on the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- 2
Make the Dry Rub
In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. This will be your dry rub.
- 3
Season the Ribs
Generously coat the ribs with the dry rub, ensuring all sides are evenly covered. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
- 4
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- 5
Prepare for Baking
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. In a small bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Brush this mixture over the ribs.
- 6
Bake the Ribs
Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily.

- 8
Serve
Once done, remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
