Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill. Whisk until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fillets are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a gas grill, set it to medium-high. If using charcoal, let the coals burn down until they are covered with white ash.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the fillets on the grill, skin side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with your favorite sides, and garnish with extra dill and lemon wedges if desired.
