Lemonade Base

Method

Lemonade Preparation

  1. 1

    Make Rosemary Infused Simple Syrup

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

  2. 2

    Add Rosemary

Once the syrup is clear, add the fresh rosemary and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

  3. 3

    Juice the Lemons

While the syrup cools, juice the fresh lemons until you have 6 cups of lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled rosemary-infused simple syrup, strained lemon juice, and 4 cups of water. Stir well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Frozen Ripsaw Preparation

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients in Blender

In a blender or frozen margarita machine, combine 2 cups of vodka, 4 cups of the house-made rosemary lemonade, and 4 cups of ice.

  2. 6

    Blend Until Smooth

Blend on high speed until the mixture is well combined and has a slushy consistency.

  3. 7

    Add Fresh Fruit

Once blended, gently fold in the mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, and lime wedges) until evenly distributed.

  4. 8

    Serve

Pour the Frozen Ripsaw into chilled glasses and garnish with extra fresh fruit if desired. Enjoy immediately!
