Method

Preparing the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Add the fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Once done, remove from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 3

    Warm the Tortillas

While the fish is resting, warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they are pliable and slightly toasted.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

Flake the grilled fish into bite-sized pieces. To each tortilla, add a portion of the flaked fish, top with shredded cabbage, and spoon over fresh salsa. If desired, add fresh cilantro for extra flavor.

  3. 5

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top before eating.
