Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, add the chicken breast, paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, and chili powder. Pour in the olive oil and mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Chop the Vegetables
While the chicken is marinating, wash and chop the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic cloves.
Cooking
- 3
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté for 2-3 minutes until they become translucent.
- 4
Add the Bell Peppers
Add the chopped bell peppers to the skillet and continue to sauté for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are tender.
- 5
Cook the Chicken
Push the sautéed vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add the marinated chicken breast to the other side and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice golden brown color.
Serving
- 6
Plate the Hot Platter
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken into strips and arrange it on a serving platter along with the sautéed vegetables.
