Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steaks

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, fresh rosemary, and lemon juice. Mix well to create a marinade.

  3. 3

    Apply the Marinade

Rub the marinade generously over both sides of the ribeye steaks. Make sure to coat them evenly. Allow them to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (around 450°F to 500°F) to ensure a good sear on the steaks.

  2. 5

    Grill the Steaks

Place the marinated ribeye steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them to achieve a nice sear.

  3. 6

    Flip and Continue Cooking

Flip the steaks using tongs and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time based on your desired doneness.

  4. 7

    Rest the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest on a cutting board for at least 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute for a juicier steak.
