Lobster

Method

Preparing Lobster

  1. 1

    Thaw Lobster Tails

If frozen, thaw the lobster tails in the refrigerator overnight or under cold running water for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  3. 3

    Prepare Lobster Tails

Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top of each lobster tail to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat out of the shell and place it on top, keeping it attached at the base.

Making Butter Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 5

    Add Ingredients

Once melted, add minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  3. 6

    Add Parsley

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley.

Cooking Lobster

  1. 7

    Bake Lobster Tails

Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush them generously with the butter sauce. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.

  2. 8

    Baste During Cooking

Halfway through cooking, baste the lobster tails with more butter sauce for added flavor.

Preparing Sides

  1. 9

    Prepare Side Dish

Choose one of the side options (Steamed Asparagus, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, or Mixed Green Salad) and prepare accordingly to serve alongside the lobster.

Serving

  1. 10

    Serve

Once the lobster tails are fully cooked, remove them from the oven, plate them with your chosen side, and drizzle with any remaining butter sauce.
