Method

Preparing the Rice

  1. 1

    Cook the Jasmine Rice

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of jasmine rice with 1.5 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 2

    Prepare the Tuna

Dice 200 grams of yellowfin tuna into 1-inch cubes and place in a bowl. Set aside.

  2. 3

    Slice the Vegetables

Thinly slice the cucumber, avocado, and scallions. Grate the fresh ginger. Arrange the vegetables on a plate for easy assembly.

Making the Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Sriracha Remoulade

In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of sriracha, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Stir well until smooth and set aside.

Assembling the Poke Bowl

  1. 5

    Build Your Bowl

In a serving bowl, place a generous portion of the cooked jasmine rice at the bottom. Arrange the diced yellowfin tuna, sliced cucumber, avocado, and scallions neatly on top of the rice. Drizzle the sriracha remoulade over the toppings. Finally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the entire bowl for added crunch.
