Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). This temperature will help to achieve a nice caramelization on the Brussels sprouts.
- 2
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise for even roasting.
- 3
Toast the Hazelnuts
Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning. Once toasted, let them cool and roughly chop.
Roasting
- 4
Toss the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the Brussels sprouts are well coated.
- 5
Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the edges.
Finishing Touches
- 6
Add Hazelnuts and Parmesan
Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the toasted hazelnuts and grated Parmesan cheese over the top. Drizzle with truffle cream before serving.
