Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of triple sec, 1 oz of lime juice, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice.

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice, or serve it straight up without ice if preferred. Garnish with a lime wedge.
