Tortilla Chips

Method

Preparing Tortilla Chips

1

Cut Tortillas

Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into triangles to form chips.

2

Heat Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

3

Fry Chips

Fry the tortilla triangles in batches for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

4

Season Chips

While the chips are still warm, sprinkle with salt to taste.
