Prepare the Bread
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

Toast the Bread
Brush each slice of baguette with olive oil on both sides. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Chop the Vegetables
Dice the fresh tomatoes and place them in a mixing bowl. Mince the garlic cloves and add to the bowl. Tear the basil leaves into smaller pieces and add them as well.

Add Cheese and Seasoning
Cube the mozzarella cheese into small pieces and add it to the mixing bowl. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle salt and black pepper to taste. Gently toss the mixture to combine all ingredients.

Top the Toasts
Once the bread slices are toasted, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Serve
Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately while still warm.
