Brewing Instructions
- 1
Measure Coffee
Using a coffee scale, weigh 0.5 cups of single origin Tanzania coffee beans.
- 2
Grind Coffee
Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency, suitable for a pour-over or drip coffee maker.
- 3
Boil Water
Bring 2 cups of filtered water to a boil and then let it sit for about 30 seconds to reach the optimal brewing temperature (around 200°F / 93°C).
- 4
Brew Coffee
Place the ground coffee in a coffee filter or pour-over cone. Slowly pour half of the hot water over the coffee grounds in a circular motion to allow the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds. After blooming, gradually pour the remaining water over the grounds, allowing the coffee to drip into your carafe or cup.
- 5
Serve
Once all the water has dripped through, pour the coffee into your favorite mug and enjoy it hot or serve over ice.
