Method

Preparation

1

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2

Prepare Turkey Breast

Remove any packaging from the turkey breast (typically 2 to 3 pounds boneless, skinless turkey breast) and pat it dry with paper towels to ensure a crisp roast.

Make Maple Glaze

3

Combine Glaze Ingredients

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/4 cup pure maple syrup, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. Stir everything together until well mixed.

4

Simmer Glaze

Bring the glaze mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

Roast Turkey

5

Place Turkey in Pan

Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan or on a rimmed baking sheet fitted with a rack.

6

Brush with Glaze

Brush a generous amount of the maple glaze over the entire surface of the turkey breast.

7

Roast Turkey

Roast the turkey in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), brushing with additional glaze every 15–20 minutes.

Finishing Touches

8

Rest Turkey

Remove the turkey breast from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board for 10–15 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.

9

Slice and Serve

Slice the turkey breast thinly against the grain and serve warm with extra glaze drizzled on top if desired.
