Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Octopus

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the octopus and boil for about 30-40 minutes until tender. Remove from water and let it cool.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Octopus

Once cooled, cut the octopus into tentacle pieces. In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the octopus pieces and coat well. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Grill the Octopus

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated octopus for about 3-4 minutes on each side until charred and heated through.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the octopus is grilling, slice the red onion and bell peppers. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Serve

On a serving plate, place a generous scoop of Santorini fava dip. Arrange the grilled octopus on top and garnish with grilled onions and peppers. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.
