Ingredients for Burrata Toast

Method

Directions for Preparing Burrata Toast

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the rustic bread slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tomatoes

While the bread is toasting, wash the Campari tomatoes and cut them in half. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Toast

Once the bread is toasted, spread a generous layer of black mission fig jam on each slice. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and place it on top of the jam.

  4. 4

    Add Toppings

Top the burrata with the halved Campari tomatoes and a slice of prosciutto di Parma. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

  5. 5

    Serve

Drizzle with a little more olive oil if desired, and serve immediately while the toast is warm.
