Preparation of Coffee Mixture

Brew Espresso
Brew 240 ml of strong espresso coffee and let it cool. If desired, mix in 60 ml of coffee liqueur for an extra kick.
Make Cream Filling

Whip Cream
In a mixing bowl, whip 240 ml of heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.

Mix Egg Yolks and Sugar
In another bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 100 g of granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

Combine Mascarpone
Add 500 g of mascarpone cheese and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the egg yolk mixture. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Fold in Whipped Cream
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated, being careful not to deflate the cream.
Assemble Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger cookie (24 pieces) into the cooled espresso mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, create a layer of soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over them. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining cream.
Chill and Serve

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

Dust with Cocoa
Before serving, dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
