Prepare the Salad Base

Wash and Tear Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Shake off excess water and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Caesar Dressing

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl or a food processor, combine minced garlic, anchovy fillets, egg yolk, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce.

Emulsify Dressing
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking or blending until the dressing is thick and creamy.

Season the Dressing
Add grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to the dressing and mix until well combined.
Assemble the Salad

Combine Salad Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, add the torn romaine lettuce and croutons.

Dress the Salad
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the lettuce and croutons evenly.

Serve the Caesar salad immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
