Preparing the Chicken Wings

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

Arrange Wings
Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.

Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Frying the Wings

Heat Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil to 375°F (190°C).

Fry the Wings
Fry the wings in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot, for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Drain Wings
Remove wings from oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.

Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce until evenly coated.
