Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Arrange Wings

Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack.

  4. 4

    Bake the Wings

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Frying the Wings

  1. 5

    Heat Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat oil to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 6

    Fry the Wings

Fry the wings in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pot, for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  3. 7

    Drain Wings

Remove wings from oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Making the Sauce (Optional)

  1. 8

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.

  2. 9

    Combine Ingredients

Add hot sauce, honey, and minced garlic to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.

  3. 10

    Toss the Wings

Once the wings are cooked, toss them in the sauce until evenly coated.

Serving

  1. 11

    Serve and Enjoy

Serve the crispy wings with your choice of dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
