Pita Chips

Tzatziki Sauce

Method

Pita Chips

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare Pita Bread

Cut each pita bread into 8 wedges. You can cut them in half and then into triangles.

  3. 3

    Season the Wedges

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Toss the pita wedges in this mixture until they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Bake the Chips

Spread the seasoned pita wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until they are golden brown and crunchy, turning halfway through.

Tzatziki Sauce

  1. 5

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber and then squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.

  2. 6

    Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, fresh dill, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  3. 7

    Chill

Cover the tzatziki sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Hummus

  1. 8

    Prepare the Ingredients

Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas. Mince the garlic.

  2. 9

    Blend the Hummus

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to reach your desired consistency.

  3. 10

    Serve

Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with paprika if desired.
