Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Octopus

Clean the octopus thoroughly, ensuring all ink and entrails are removed. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the octopus. Cook for about 40-50 minutes until tender. Remove and let it cool, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Tomatoes and Wine

Add the cherry tomatoes (halved) to the skillet and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes. Pour in the white wine and simmer for another 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked octopus pieces to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir gently to combine all ingredients and cook for an additional 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley, and serve hot with crusty bread or over a bed of polenta.
