Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the T-bone steak out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat it dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lobster

If using a whole lobster, split the lobster tail in half lengthwise. If using precooked lobster, simply thaw it and keep it ready.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Cook the Steak

Preheat the grill or a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  2. 5

    Cook the Lobster

In a small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the lobster meat, sprinkle with a pinch of salt and lemon juice, and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until heated through. If using whole lobster, grill it for about 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Place the cooked T-bone steak on a large plate, and arrange the lobster tail next to it. Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the lobster.

  2. 7

    Add Garnish

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the steak and lobster.
