Method
Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Salad Base
Wash and dry the Romaine lettuce. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Add Vegetables and Dressing
Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl. Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss well to combine.
- 3
Finish with Toppings
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and croutons on top of the salad.
Fried Shrimp Preparation
- 4
Prepare Shrimp
In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Set aside.
- 5
Set Up Breading Station
Prepare three shallow dishes: place flour in the first, beaten egg in the second, and breadcrumbs in the third.
- 6
Bread the Shrimp
Dip each shrimp first in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 7
Fry the Shrimp
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded shrimp and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Crab Cake Preparation
- 8
Mix Ingredients
In a bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, bread crumbs, beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 9
Form Crab Cakes
Shape the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- 10
Fry Crab Cakes
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
