Rib Eye Steak

Method

Preparing the Rib Eye Steak

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika, and fresh rosemary. Rub this mixture generously over the rib eye steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your BBQ grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). Ensure the grill grates are clean.

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the marinated rib eye steak on the hot grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Cooking the Garlic/Hot Sauce Shrimp

  1. 4

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 5

    Add Shrimp and Sauce

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they start to turn pink. Flip the shrimp and add hot sauce and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.

  3. 6

    Finish with Parsley

Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley for garnish. Serve immediately.
