Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Breast

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

If using frozen shrimp, thaw them under running water and pat dry. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    Chop the Vegetables

Chop the onion and mince the garlic. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Sauté the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 5

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

  3. 6

    Add the Shrimp

Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and are cooked through.

  4. 7

    Combine with Sauces

Reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir in the heavy cream and tomato sauce, mixing well. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.

  5. 8

    Combine Chicken

Return the sautéed chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Allow to simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  6. 9

    Finish and Serve

Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired.
