Clams Casino

Method

Clams Casino

  1. 1

    Prepare the clams

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the clams thoroughly under cold running water. Discard any clams that are open and do not close when tapped.

  2. 2

    Cook the bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet, crumble, and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté garlic

In the same skillet, add butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. 4

    Make the topping

In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed garlic, crumbled bacon, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and lemon juice. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Stuff the clams

Place the cleaned clams in a baking dish. Spoon the topping mixture generously onto each clam.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown.

Stuffed Mushrooms

  1. 7

    Preheat the oven

Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 8

    Prepare the mushrooms

Clean the mushrooms gently with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Set the caps aside.

  3. 9

    Mix the filling

In a bowl, combine cream cheese, garlic powder, chives, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  4. 10

    Stuff the mushrooms

Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well filled.

  5. 11

    Drizzle with olive oil

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

  6. 12

    Bake

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
