Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribeye

Place the ribeye steaks in a shallow dish or a resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 1-2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F or 232°C to 260°C). Ensure the grill grates are clean and oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Ribeye

Remove the ribeye steaks from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the steaks on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them to get nice grill marks.

  3. 5

    Flip and Continue Grilling

Flip the steaks using tongs and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, or longer if desired for more doneness.

  4. 6

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute for a more flavorful steak.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate and Garnish

Slice the ribeye against the grain and serve on a plate. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
