Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Ribs

Place the beef short ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight for the best flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 200-220°C or 400-425°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked to your desired level of doneness.

  3. 5

    Rest the Ribs

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Slice the ribs and serve on a platter. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and lemon wedges for added flavor and presentation.
